Am still waiting for our little girl to come out but she seems to be very comfortable inside me. Sigh… While waiting, I went through some of my old photo collection and came about this set of photos taken last year at the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Hope you like them as much as I enjoyed them.

Portraiture – Just Cause: Joni + Lina l Layang-Layang Island Resort l Sabah l Malaysia

Joni’s one of the boat captain for Layang-Layang Island Resort while I do my annual divemastering for the dive center. He’s a very soft spoken guy but know his stuffs really well out in the sea. He’s married a sweet petite gal, Lina, who became one of my best pal while I was there. Both have been married for many many years but have never had their portraits taken together before or after the wedding.

To show my love & gratitude for them for being such wonderful friends & collegue, I offered to do their portraits during one of the island’s killer sunset.

Both of them are madly in love with each other even after being married for so long. They’re very shy infront of the camera at first. Joni trying to be the typical “macho” guy, pretended to act all cool while Lina tried to warm up to him infront of the camera. Soooo cute!

Eventually, they loosen up & we had a few good laughs, hence, a few wonderful warm shots of them together.

Travel: Dong Zen Temple l Kuala Langat l Selangor l Malaysia

It was my first trip to this temple (Feb 2008) & I was soooo amazed at the massive area it covers! I’d like to thank my three “bodyguards” who HAD to tag along with me; Peter, MikeD and my dearest darling. ‘Nough said, here are some photos taken from that evening…

There were many colorful light decorations all around the temple.

Lanterns everywhere too!

Colorful candles were used for prayer offerings.

There were many little "statues" and "artifacts" being displayed around the temple

Not too sure what caused such an intense reaction on this little boy's face.

Am A Bad Blogger!

So so so sorry for not been blogging lately. Sigh… Was pretty much caught up with photo editings as well as trying not to stress too much for the sake of my very pregnant being.

We’ve got less than a month left before baby’s due to meet us. Went for another ante-natal check-up recently and our little girl’s now about 2.8kg inside me. She was only 2.2kg 2 weeks before! How fast she’s growing!

Well… my motherhood has started even before baby’s out, starting with the famous “lack of sleep” syndrome. Baby’s now so big that poor little girl has less room to move & stretch inside me, hence, I’ve been kept awake most nites by her kickings & stretchings. Most of my organs surrounding the womb are her punching bags. One can imagine the tremendous pain & discomfort I’ve been getting lately. Sigh…

I pray she’ll come out & meet us all pretty soon. I’ve got so much things lined up for the 2nd half of this year and I hope baby’ll be a good little girl so that mummy can execute her photography plans efficiently & productively.

One thing for sure! Baby’s going to be my top model this year and poor daddy’s been drafted to be her side-kick. Hahaha…

I’ve been working on an old collection of photos recently & hope to be putting up the slideshow sometime soon. So do come back to this blog in the next couple of days, yeah?
